" A collection of Images that capture the essence of women and men who express their individuality though the usage of fierce color lipsticks to make a strong statement"

The human face is a beautifully though out part of our body that alone is filled with natural beauty, and divine proportion. Despite the beauty of nature, however, it can be traced back as far as 5,000 years that humans have always found ways to enhance the appearance of their face in order to become more appealing to their mate, show superiority of social class, or simply to feel more attractive in their own way.

The usage of Lipstick can be traced back to the Mesopotamian era that goes as far as C.2500 BC, where women would crush up gemstones and mix it with binding products in order to decorate their faces, and those of their children, showing early signs of individuality.  The concept of being unique can also be traced back to the Egyptian era of the very infamous Cleopatra, who would use crushed up bugs to create the color red, enhancing  her already incredible beauty, which added to her already fierce popularity. As time went by populations grew, different societies developed, and the norms for women changed for the worst. Unfortunately, after the era of Cleopatra, and before the feminist movement, bright color makeup was associated with prostitutes and clowns. It has been a struggle ever since for those individuals who enjoy being different, and unique to fight against conformity and express themselves in their own way.

Luckily, In today’s world, lipstick is one of the most popular cosmetic items in the world. Thanks to M.A.C, and many other well-known brands the beauty of being able to wear your lips based on the color of your mood is something that is now possible for those who need a little confidence boost, want to feel pretty, and sexy. Thanks to the developing trend of being unique, cosmetic companies have now developed colors that not everyone has the audacity to wear, such as black, deep blood red, blue, and even bright purple, which are the colors I find most appealing, for they scream fierce and confident!
