Good VS. Evil

A collection of vintage, Marvel Comic books containing the stories of the classic superheroes we know and love.

This is a collection of Marvel's superhero comic books dating from the 1990’s and back. It is interesting to see their evolution through time, the use of bold lines and bright colors as well as the way stories slightly change when they are rewritten. What does remain consistent is that good always defeats evil in the end.

Marvel Worldwide Inc., is an American publisher of comic books and related media. Comics historians divide the history of American comic books into ages including the Golden Age (1938-1950), Silver Age (1956-1970), Bronze Age (1970-1985), and Modern Age (1985-Present). Marvel has evolved through the years. It started in 1939 as Timely Publications, and by the early 1950s had generally become known as Atlas Comics. Marvel's modern incarnation, as we recognize it today, dates from 1961, the year the company launched The Fantastic Four and other superhero titles created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko and others. Marvel is known worldwide and has had such great influence and revenues. Some of the most well known stories and characters of superheroes and villains have come from Marvel Comics.

Some popular superhero characters include Spiderman, Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Thor, Hulk, and superhero teams such as the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, also includes antagonist characters such as Doctor Doom, Doctor Octopus, Ultron, Thanos, Magneto and Loki. Most of Marvel's fictional characters operate in a single reality known as the Marvel Universe, with locations that mirror real-life cities in America. Many of these characters stories are based in New York City.
