Ucriteek is an app that is designed to give critiques to other artists as well as sharing tips and guides to improve the art community as a whole.

Concept #1

Possible names: ArtBase, Ucritique

Idea: This app is basically a place for artists to show off their art work and receive nothing but constructive criticism. Every type of medium will be labeled as clickable categories and under those categories will be forums of users of all types discussing their favorite mediums. Therefore, each user will help themselves by helping others.

The idea is to help the artist community grow as a whole. There are websites where artists post their work and they get no critiques in return.

* Users will post photos of their work
* Users comment and rate their work
* Users cannot only rate, they must comment on why they rated what they did
* There will be discussion groups or forums of artists discussing their own work, other people's work, or works of popular artists
* Users can post music, movies or books that can help motivate other artists


The app will include:

A profile feature, a tutorial feature (where artists can post their own tutorials or tutorials from other artists), artists can meet up with artists through local match ups, a feature where you can find local art cafes or venues where you can expose yourself to more art and expand your library of artists (this way you can find inspiration), there may be a feature where artists motivate other artists who are demotivated.

Stranger Danger: Stranger Danger is designed to be a quick and effective method to alert friends or family of a possible situation where you may need help. 

In the instance of an emergency, you just click the emergency message button and in seconds you can record a message when there just isn't time to type something out. 

Stranger Danger will then voice message to your loved ones alerting them of the situation, while providing them with important GPS information. If you don;t have cellular data or wifi, you can send an SMS containing the GPS data and a brief message.

Checkpoints for the Elderly - KinCare

Creating a small group of diverse people who are assigned an elderly person so the burden isn’t put only on one person. The group is based on volunteer, each person is involved in the same situation and can help each others dependents. There is a map app involved where you are able to help based on your own personal schedules and location. There is in increasing population of elderly with the aging Baby Boomers and there will be a large demand for care, health care, and emotional wellbeing.
