concept for train life in graffiti culture. unified by community posts in forum pages, local mapped locations using Google Maps, making it easy to get directions, drop pins, save locations, etc. On top of this, allows users to upload their own images, and work out their own concepts in the studio section of the app, where you can take your own image, and add your own work of art from an arsenal of painter’s tools including spray paints, and markers. Also features the iconic eyedropper tool allowing you to pick specific colors to purchase from our own store.

LOCATION

where users use Google Maps to locate specific spots, drop pins on found locations, track train times and schedules for specific trainlines, including CTU, ATA, etc. using logistics. Track your own freight by tagging it electronically, see where it travels across the continent.

GALLERY

where users can upload their own images to organize and showcase to other users around the globe. Here you can edit photographs, as well as take a photo of a freight, and save it on your phone to sketch on digitally later on. An app where you can search the name of any restaurant and it will give you their best and worst choices (appetizers, entrees, desserts) from their menu.
List is going to be updated on a daily basis according to the reviews received from its users. 
Food will be rated with stars, one star being the lowest (poor) and five being the highest (excellent). Also, users will be able to type any comments that they might have.
Free App
List of restaurants in alphabetical order or you can simply type the name of any restaurant.
Restaurant will appear with a list of their best and worst appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

 

Triptopia

You can use this app when you go out of the country and you want a list with ideas of things you can do, places you can visit.

Your Everyday Rhythm

A rhythm game revolving around 4 high school students who want to make it big in the entertainment industry. Manage troupe Cardia Wave and help them give great performances. Tap the screen in time with the beat in this fast & fun music game.

• Original Music
• Ensure that live performances go great by tapping the screen in time with the music. Hit all the notes to build up a combo to increase your score. New songs will be added every week.
• Original Story Arc
• Along with live performances, learn about Cardia Wave outside of entertainment. This game includes a story arc that follows our 4 protagonists in their daily lives. Experience their shenanigans. 
• This game will also include side stories for each individual student.
• Manage Cardia Wave
• Along with the original 4 members, you can scout for more students to join the group. Create your own team; there are many different combinations and possibilities.
• Train your team
• "Practice" with your team members to level them up. The higher the level of the student, the better scores they give during performances. 
• If you happen to have 2 of the exact same student, you can "mega practice", which will evolve your student for maximum stats; giving you the best score possible that student can give.

App Idea: Urban Edibles

I want to create an app based on a website called Urban Edibles from Portland, OR where people can pin locations of where they find wild fruit in public spaces.

The app will have an interactive map that uses your location and shows you pins of fruit that others have added in your area.

In addition to this, it will have components informing you of what fruit is in season in your area, the benefits of each fruit, images of how they should look when they're ripe and when they're too green to eat.

For safety reasons, I'd like that as soon as the app loads it shows images and names of poisonous/dangerous fruit in your area to avoid.

The current website exists only for the city of Portland, so this app will open the possibility for people to start pinning in their own cities, as well as having the additional components that I used to source from other websites and books when I used their website.

Also, they don't really have a cohesive design and I'd like to introduce that as a means to make it more user-friendly and inviting.

Possible names: ArtBase, Ucritique

Idea: This app is basically a place for artists to show off their art work and receive nothing but constructive criticism. Every type of medium will be labeled as clickable categories and under those categories will be forums of users of all types discussing their favorite mediums. Therefore, each user will help themselves by helping others.

The idea is to help the artist community grow as a whole. There are websites where artists post their work and they get no critiques in return.

* Users will post photos of their work
* Users comment and rate their work
* Users cannot only rate, they must comment on why they rated what they did
* There will be discussion groups or forums of artists discussing their own work, other people's work, or works of popular artists
* Users can post music, movies or books that can help motivate other artists


The app will include:

A profile feature, a tutorial feature (where artists can post their own tutorials or tutorials from other artists), artists can meet up with artists through local match ups, a feature where you can find local art cafes or venues where you can expose yourself to more art and expand your library of artists (this way you can find inspiration), there may be a feature where artists motivate other artists who are demotivated.

Concept: This app is meant for people who are having a bad day and need to talk to someone.

Sometimes people are having a bad day and they need someone to talk to. Maybe it’s something personal that you can’t talk to your close friends about. Or the problem is about someone in your life that you can’t talk to anyone else about. You can find people on the app who are having the same problem as you.

Cap (College Budget App)

Concept: Surviving life on a college budget

This app is designed to give the best tips on how to survive on a college budget. It will give the user the best prices of everyday essentials, restaurants, and on/off campus activities. It will have a feature where you can put in your weakly wages along with bills and their due dates, and the budgeter will help you manage your money.

Dish Out (Restaurant App)

Concept: Avoid lines, get your name on the list and have your drinks waiting for you before getting to the restaurant

This app is designed to promote restaurants in your area and help you avoid lines. Restaurants can promote new specials, happy hours and entertainment. You can reserve your seat and have a drink waiting for you while avoiding the crowd.

Concept: Everyone has eating limitations, this app will help find restaurants that accommodate everyone

This app is designed for those people who have limitations on what they can eat. Going out to eat can be difficult for people who are Vegan, Vegetarian or Gluten Intolerant. This app will give you all the restaurants who can cater to your needs while fulfilling the needs of others who are going with you.

Gift (Wish List App)

Concept: Find the best gifts for people in a certain age range or look up someone’s wish list

This app is designed to help people who have a hard time finding gifts. The app gives the best gift options depending on the age range. You can also search a person’s name who has a wish list on the app to buy them the perfect gift.

Concept #1: Alcohol Calories and Nutritional Information

This app allows you to search the nutritional information of alcoholic drinks, from mixed cocktails, to wines, to beers. 

-You can search within category of beverages (beer, wine, vodka, scotch, whiskey, gin, tequila, and popular cocktail mixed drinks) and once you choose your selection a new view will open up with the nutritional information (calories, ingredients) and more information on that drink (history, pairings, and recipes). 

Concept #2: Things-to-do on a Budget

An app that allows you to find events and things to do depending on your budget and the distance you're willing to travel. 

How will it work?: 

1. After you download this app you will be prompted to answer a series of questions to get to know you and what you like (ex. what is your favorite kind of food, what are your interests, favorite music, your age, etc...) You can skip this step, but results will not be custom tailored.

2. You will then be introduced to the main window for this app.. Here you will interact with a series of buttons where you will choose:

        a. Your Budget: (Choose from: Free, ≤ $10, ≤ $20, ≤ $30, ≤ $40, ≤ $50, $50+)

        b. Distance: (Choose from: 1 mile, 5 miles, 10 miles, 20 miles, 30+ miles)

3. Hit Search and a series of events and things to do will appears depending on your input.

4. Click on a search that interests you to read reviews from users and purchase tickets or get directions.

Background: Facebook has the idea of a "poke"
Keep in touch with your old highs school/college friends, old colleagues, and even distant family members you wish to remind that you still remember them.
The app will allow the user to send a quick "push" notification to the significant person you have lost touch with but still want to show that you care.

Phone contacts and possibly Facebook contacts can be imported into the app.
The receiver of the app does not have to have the app, but in order to view the entire content of the message will have to download the app.

User will select the contact to send the notification to. The app will not have text messaging or video; instead, only certain buttons will be available to push and send. The receiver will be allowed to respond back with another push notification or a phone call option.

Reason for app: People don't have time for long conversations, but sometimes still think about people they used to talk to. This app will allow the user to just let their contact know that they are thinking about them.

Phrases or emoticons will be used to reply back and forth between the talking parties.
The user's push notification will only have a lifetime of 1 hour where the other receiver will have 1 hour to respond back.

It's not about the people you keep in touch with everyday, it's the people you've forgotten.

Sender: "Im thinking of you"
Receiver: Notification on screen: "Yekaterina is thinking of you"

*Not intended for long conversations, just quick and simple reminder that you still remember and care.

Name: Beau Monde (Fashionable Society in French)
Description: There is food delivery! Why not immediate clothing delivery?
Purchase an article of clothing through the app where the app filters what is available to be delivered from the stores nearby. Stores are connected through the app and are partnered up with the app to receive profit.
Through the app you search a selection of stores around you and purchase a product through PayPal. Within several hours, the person that works for the app in your area will pick up that article clothing from the store and deliver it to your address. The app will be paid for and the service will be free.

HOMECOMING

This app is for a worship ministry based in Ohio. They play worship music, lead retreats and key-note speak in conferences. This app is going to have live updates on the ministry's events, include inspirational blog posts, connect followers, and will feature song and video releases of music and talks.

Hillsong App is my inspiration for the basic set up and design.
