Graphic Design I- Reviewing the research conducted by my students @ Florida International University. They documented a collection of objects by drawing, photographing, scanning and other experimental methods of visual documentation. They defined the qualities and properties of the objects as well as the history and time period discovering formal and conceptual associations. Students will use the data to create compelling imagery applying their knowledge of semiotics and the use of metaphors.
Next, they'll continue with the branding effort for each collection. Among the collections: pins, socks, rocks, face masks, feathers, tags, plastic waste, and others.
